The storm has just now gotten to the blizzard state that they have been talking about for the past two days. At 4:30pm we had just about four inches of snow, two hours later we are up to ten inches. The wind has really picked up and the visibility has really diminished. I have been seeing a large number of people in the are reporting that they do not have power, we have been lucky so far, the lights have flickered once but we have never lost power. We are in for a very long night, the snow is very heavy and that coupled with the strong winds will surely bring down some trees as well as power lines. I will be glued to the weather channel and my porch window for the rest of the evening. We are also experiencing a great thunder snowstorm right now!!! I thought it was the plow but the flash of lighting proved that it was not!! I can now cross experiencing a thunder snow storm off of my bucket list!!!
Diabetes wise things are going very well, I made a trip to the gym around 6am to beat the snow. My blood sugar has been right around 120 all day, I also was able to change my site with no problems. Going forward things should be just fine diabetes wise.
