My body, mind and knee all needed the week off to recover. As much pain as I felt last sunday I felt almost the same this week due to my blood sugars being around 200 all week. I was taking two extra units of insulin to cover any meal or snack that I would have. After work my blood sugars crept up to the 230 range as I sat on the couch instead of going for a run.
Tomorrow I will begin my boxing workouts by doing three continuous minutes of an exercise and the resting for a minute before moving on to the next workout. My left knee is still in a lot of pain but with a doctors appointment scheduled for Tuesday I'm hoping to solve the problem. I'm very nervous about the appointment and hopeful that I can still workout in someway if my knee has a problem. My hope is that the knee is fine because I can not take another four to six weeks of not being able to do some kind of cardio.
