Tomorrow morning I will be running in my second duathlon. After the troubles I had in my first duathlon I'm looking forward to tomorrow's race. Once again the route is one that I know very well, that will be a huge help.
The real trouble will come with the temp basal and my blood sugars. I'm thinking a 19% temp basal will work, that is a increase from the 9% temp basal I used in my first duathlon. My second worry is the cold, it is not proven but I believe my blood sugars are always a bit higher when it is cold outside.
I'm excited to race tomorrow, if I remember that I'm still learning how to race in a duathlon I will be able to relax and enjoy the race.
