The green jersery will go to the best sprinter that cycling has ever seen. After crashing out of the tour last year look for Mark Cavendish to own the green jersey. With Marcel Kittel missing this years tour many sprinters are licking their chops but Cavendish is coming in with a I can't be beat mentality.
The winner of the polka dot jersey will be my favorite non diabetic cyclist, Pierre Roland. Pierre is still a bit of an unknown and unproven rider but he has the chance to not only win the polka dot but also the yellow jersey. I have a good feeling about Pierre finishing in the top 5 overall.
With such a difficult Tour that has a team time trial as well as five summit finishes anything can happen. The first stage will set the tone, if one of the top riders is a minute or more behind look for a few riders to try and get a nice gap between he and the favorites before heading in to the mountains. Like any bike race the tour will have its share of crashes, the cobbles will cause one favorite to lose the tour. With all of that said I could have better luck picking a winner out of a hat than going with what I know and my gut. Look for Alberto Contador to be in yellow when the Tour De France reaches the Champs Elysees. Thibaut Pinot will finish in second and Chris Froome in third.
