I have had a lot of trouble in the past with the time change, this past Saturday I decided to try something different. Usually I will change the time on my pump, CGM, and meters on Sunday morning after the clocks have changed. Saturday at 7pm I decided to change the clocks on all of my diabetes equipment, I figured getting a jump on the time change may help my blood sugars. I also decided that getting up at 7am on Sunday would be better than trying to get my normal amount of sleep and sleeping until 8am.
I'm not sure if the early time change has made the difference but for the first two days of "Spring" my blood sugars have been very respectable. I have had a couple of odd occurrences however, in the picture above you see a very odd and unexplained spike just before midnight. I was also lower than normal this morning which brought on another low just before noon while at the gym. I feel that the time change has not affected like it has in the past. That is a great thing and I'm happy that spring is here (kind of) I can
