On business or vacation finding a way or a place to workout is a must. It is my way to keep everything normal when it comes to blood sugar management. This week living in a hotel and eating restaurant food all week is not best to keep my blood sugars in range, making sure I get to workout makes that battle a little easier.
Of course there is more to my training than just good blood sugars. My hope is to run an endurance race in November. The training needs to happen no matter what, it doesn't matter if it's windy and raining I have to train. If you want something bad enough you'll find a way. I want an A1C that is in my range and to be able to run an ultra in November. Running while away for work is not an excuse to not train. I can't wait for 7am tomorrow so I can get back on the trails!!
