I believe that the problem is my basal rate, you may be thinking didn't he talk about setting a temp basal while running on Monday? I did and tried out a temp basal this afternoon, I went with a basal of 44% and did not begin my exercise until an hour after I set the temp basal. The low could be caused by a couple of things, my temp basal may be to high or my blood sugar was dropping when I tested before my run. The third thing could be that it was just one of those days.
The craziest part of my run this afternoon was my brain. Yesterday the marathon became real for me, I finally made that leap and committed myself 100% to running the marathon. The marathon is in 72 days, I'm so worried about being physically prepared and prepared when it comes t0 my diabetes. This afternoon I realized that I need to prepare myself mentally for the marathon, I will need physical toughness to finish. I'm glad that just over two months out I'm realizing that I need to relax mentally. The last thing I wanted was to be at mile 22 and mentally drained.
