After stretching it was time to get a quick mile run in and then get to work. I have found that running is not something I’m great at but I should do it at least twice a week to work different muscles in my body. Running was probably not the best idea before my workout; with a new month starting it’s time to start a new workout plan. As spring gets closer the cycling season gets even closer. I have been riding a bit but I believe the cardio side of training needs to increase. The weights have done all they will do it’s time to get the legs prepared for long hours on the bike. I wanted cardio and man that’s exactly what I got; I wore a 20lb weight vest for the hour workout that included plate pushes, the rope, burpees and some ab work. I got just what I wanted out of my workout today, my shirt was drenched in sweat and my legs were tired. I couldn’t ask for much more.
