For the next four months or so my morning routine will be look like this:
4:30-wake up and have a small snack
5-get to the gym, stretch, cardio, lift
615-shower, have breakfast and leave for work
That routine is very similar to my summer routine, the only difference is the lifting after cardio. Right now my main concerns are how will lifting and swimming effect my blood sugar. My hope is that if I decrease my over night basal rate that I will wake up with a blood between 140 and 200 rather than between 70 and 100. By waking up with a little higher blood sugar I will have the confidence to go all out while at the gym.
Then I have to worry about breakfast how will my body react post workout? The next couple of weeks will be challenging but I will be learning a lot and that will help me moving forward. As always I look forward to the challenge.
