Obviously I went to the doctor and got meds to fix everything and I'm back to my usual goofy self. That means I will be writing when I can and you'll see my social media posts a lot more then you have for the past seven days. Diabetes wise it was a very interesting seven days. I wasn't eating or drinking a lot which tested my CGM and basal rates. I passed that test no problem, it truly amazes me how dialed in we can be as diabetics when things are off physically. It takes a tremendous amount of trust, I know my pump and CGM will work together if my blood sugar goes down to 70. I know that I don't need to over react and get juice. I keep my eye on it and test but I have total faith in my technology and know that it will do what it should. Don't get me wrong the meds and sick days did give me some highs and lows that I wasn't expecting but for the most part it was smooth sailing.
This week will be a recovery week that will consist of some running but nothing crazy. I want to make sure my body fully recovers before going nuts, the last thing I want is to be beating up my body while it is still recovering. One week off is a lot better then a month.
