I was able to get my blood sugar down to 140 around 7am, I thought I was all set and would be able to work without a problem, I was wrong. I was down to 60 by 8am and was in need of a soda and a granola bar for the quick fix. At 9am I was feeling dizzy and really off, I was functioning normally I was just in a lil haze. It is kind of like waking up after a nap and thinking you slept through a dinner date you had planned. Once again I was low I just had a little trouble realizing the symptoms, I would drink more juice and eat some peanut butter crackers. Luckily the rest of the day went off with no problems, I stayed around 100 and felt very well. Great control and low blood sugars are a very fine line, I can be 95 and have no problems but if I'm at 85 it's a different story. At 85 I get this odd anger where every little thing will piss me off.
With 22 years of diabetes and low blood sugars I have never been able to find a decent healthy low fix. However this afternoon I saw on Facebook a post about a new product. Level Foods (http://levelfoods.com/) the website states that it raises blood sugar quickly and keeps you moving. I quickly ordered a few packages and I can't wait to try it out. I'm sick of regular soda and juice that may raise my blood sugar but fills me with empty calories. Candy doesn't work for me, I'm not going to eat a bag of skittles to fix a low. It's a tough posistion to be in but I'm tired of putting almost 300 empty calories in to my body everyday. I'm looking forwad to level foods and hope they work as well as I have heard
