Happy Mothers Day

Mothers are very special people and everyone's love and appreciation should be shown all year.  Life has so many highs and lows but the one person that is always there for all of it is your mother.  I was very lucky to have won the mother lottery but I'm ashamed that I have not totally appreciated her until now.  My mother and I had a rocky for relationship during my teens and early twenties, I find that as my health deteriorated my relationship with my mother did as well.  In this time my mother did all that she could to try and help but when someone says you have a problem you don't want to hear it.  I didn't want to hear anything for a long time and definitely didn't want to hear it from my mom.  When I got my diabetes under control I got my old self back, the person who loved life and everyone close to him.  I wish I could go back in time because I miss the fun times with my mother.  I miss the trips to the beach, the mischief we caused, and I miss watching Tom Green.  Yes, you read that correctly, I miss watching Tom Green with my mother, that comment right there shows you how cool she is.  What mother sits with her son and watches Tom Green, I'll tell you who, one of the best mothers in the world.  I can't say I'm sorry enough for all of the pain that I have caused her but I can try to make up for those days.  Thank you Mom for everything you are and everything you have done!!  I love you!!!
