Once I was stretched out, above 130 and mentally prepared I headed out for my run. I had an idea of the route I would run but I made the route have a lot of options in case I got low or my body felt like crap. The only bad thing about my run was that I forgot my watch, I would have no idea how long I ran. As I got deeper in to my run my blood sugar was staying around 90 but my legs felt like jello. I swear I was not using my brain to run, I believe my legs just kept moving. I felt great but couldn't feel my legs. Not sure if that is normal, post run my legs felt great after some stretching.
I believe I finished my eleven mile run around one hour and fifteen minutes. I'm not worried to much about the time, I'm just happy that my body felt great and that my blood sugar stayed above 70. I'm excited for the Blessing of the Fleet and feel that I will do very well.
