As I get ready for my first ride in a little more than the new surroundings will be on my mind. What will my blood sugar do? That may sound like a joke but after a stressful week of moving and other life happenings I'm a little worried. I haven't been on the bike or for a run in a week or so. A lot of factors will go into figuring out what my blood sugar will do while riding.
The good news is that my blood sugars have been in range more often then not. It will be getting back into that routine that will be important. I have my eye on a 30k run in October and hopefully a 50k towards the end of October or early November. Both of those races will be in jeopardy if I don't get my butt in gear.
