I have no control over my A1C tomorrow but all day while I work I will be thinking about things that I could have done differently. I will be happy with an A1C below 6.5 but that happiness will last a few minutes, as soon as I leave the doctor I will begin working towards a lower A1C than the one I just received. If you're not improving than you are not working, odd mindset but one that has gotten me to where I need to be as a diabetic. Tomorrow after the conversation about my blood sugars I would like to ask my doctor about finding a diabetic sports nutritionist, I believe that is the next next step to a lower A1C. The insulin adjustments help but the big thing is making a change in my diet so that I can eliminate post exercise spikes.
I'm excited to see the doctor tomorrow and all of my friends at Joslin, they are like family. I will also be watching the video below tomorrow before heading to the doctor, I'm a weird dude but I look at my diabetes like a competition and if I'm at 6.5 or higher I will not be happy
