Once I calmed down (five minutes later) I took 2.3 units to get my blood sugar down. Once again the gym would have to wait, I did a little bit of work for basketball and by 11 I started yawning and getting angry. I was down to 50, after another breakdown I drank some juice and made my lunch. The rest of my day would be uneventful and I eventually did make it to the gym.
I really don't like to ever bad mouth my diabetes, but this new challenge is really getting to me. I thought it was initially caused by working out so hard before having a full breakfast, that obviously is not the case. Why is it that even if I don't eat breakfast my blood sugar spikes an hour after I wake up. I don't get it but I have a great team helping me in figure out the problem. I can only hope that the answer or a solution is found in the very near future.
